Art in Fusion: When Creative Worlds Converge
From 30–31 January 2026, we opened the doors of Atelier V&A in Kaki Bukit for Art in Fusion: Atelier V&A Open Studio, a two-day experience where art, design, craft and conversation flowed freely.
More than an exhibition, we are a living studio: part gallery, part workspace, part playground. Within our showroom, art lived on walls and pedestals, but just as importantly, it lived through people, through exchanges, questions, shared curiosity and new perspectives.
Art Made Visible and Felt
We reimagine our space, not as a static display, but as an environment in motion. Sculptural furniture from the Atelier One Collection stood alongside works from collaborators like Lavavella, Beeyarnd and Daisy Toh, blending disciplines from florals to fibre, ceramics to crafted objects.
Visitors wander through curated zones, each inviting a different kind of engagement:
one corner becks with tactile materials and design narratives,
another draws people into quiet, intimate exchanges,
while somewhere else, form and function conversed with colour and texture.
A Gratitude for Community
As we continue to sift through the conversations, ideas and inspirations that emerged, we are reminded that art, whether furniture, floral, fibre or form, is never just about seeing. It is about connecting, feeling and becoming part of a collective rhythm of creativity.
Here’s to what art makes possible, in objects, in spaces, and most of all, in community.
