This piece is made as part of the Magnolia series. A single bloom nested in the middle of the bowl with tree-bark like texture on the other side. I love it when ceramics can look gorgeous and feels nice to hold at the same time.
Magnolia bloom is a symbol of new beginnings and strength. Moving to a new city may seem exciting but there are moments when so much courage is needed, the magnolia blooms on the tree always gives me a sense of calmness, something we all need with all the madness happening in the world at the moment.
